Mr. Toshiya Yamagishi the new President of Toyota Industrial Equipment Mfg., Inc. (TIEM)

Irvine, CA September 01, 2011—Shortly after Toyota Industrial Equipment Mfg., Inc. (TIEM) announces that they have chosen Mr.Toshiya Yamagishi as their new president last July. TIEM now appointed two new vice presidents; for quality assurance and corporate services. Mr. Tom DePalma as appointed as Vice President of Quality Assurance for TIEM and TMHNA (Toyota Material Handling North America) while Mr. Tom Barker was appointed as Vice President of Corporate Services for TIEM and TINA (Toyota Industries North America, Inc.)

Mr. Kazue Sasaki, the president of TMHG (Toyota Material Handling Group) said that both executive will handle important responsibilities. “They have to make sure that Toyota will stay on top when it comes to product quality, safety and environment health.”

Going back to Toyota’s new president, Mr. Toshiya Yamagishi; he will act not only as the president of TIEM but also as a Vice Chairman of TMHNA and Board Member of Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A., Inc. Mr. Yamagishi will be responsible with the manufacturing in the Toyota’s Columbus, IN. plant, wherein majority of the Forklifts sold in North America are manufactured.
