Seegrid Corp., the Pittsburgh-based manufacturer of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and other robotic industrial trucks, announced in a news release that its GT10 tow tractor robot truck has been named as a finalist for the 2014 Edison Award. The distinguished award is named for Thomas A. Edison and recognizes products that reflect the innovation, creativity and ingenuity in the global economy. The robot tractor is a finalist in the Applied Technology category and the Industrial Productivity sub-category.
