International Thermal Systems –a Milwaukee-based manufacturer of industrial ovens, furnaces, washer systems and other material handling equipment — announced in a news release that it has purchased Continental Equipment Corporation, also of Milwaukee, for an undisclosed price. ITS acquired Continental because it wanted to expand its belt, cabinet, monorail, rotary drum and spray quench systems, as well asts pallet and case washer systems product lines, according to Marshall Joas, GM of ITS’s washer systems division. “The ice builder equipment serving the dairy and food & beverage market is a major addition to our product line,” he said.
