In my younger days I worked for a large paint product company. My job was in the damage department. Every time someone accidentally forked a pallet of canned paint I, along with a couple co-workers were called in to clean up the mess. We would rush to the scene with cardboard boxes, rags, and some empty paint cans. Why paint cans? Because the drums that were stored in the damage department room were immobile. If we had a couple of drums set up on drum dollies it would’ve made our job so much easier.<\/p><\/div>\n

Loading a drum into the cradle of a drum dolly gives it wheels allowing an easier transfer from one area in the building to the next. If the product in the drum needs to be used in a few choice workspaces throughout the day, as soon as one workstation is done with it it can be easily rolled to the next. In that regards there’s less stock used at a time with a much more economical way to use the product.<\/div>\n

So, as you can see, the days of the drum roll are now far behind us. Thanks to drum handlers like drum cradles, drum trucks, and drum dollies<\/a>, it’s made the job easier and less messy by making the transfer of drums secure.<\/div>\n
