You can view the video here:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=3GoR7nlRNyE&amp;list=UUAiRVU84Si6YHoe8LCn54WA\">New OSHA Rules on Reporting Employee Injuries<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">The US Occupational Safety and Health Administration has changed the requirement for reporting employee injuries. E<\/span>mployers must now be report all work-related fatalities to OSHA within eight hours after they occur, and all in-patient hospitalizations, amputations, and losses of an eye with 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Previously to the new rules, employers were only required to report all workplace fatalities and when three or more workers were hospitalized in the same incident.<\/p>\n<p><strong>New Rules Improve Worker Safety<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to OSHA, the new updated reporting requirements have a life saving purpose.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They will enable employers and workers to prevent future injuries by identifying and eliminating the most serious workplace hazards,&#8221; OSHA officials stated during a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mail.google.com\/mail\/u\/0\/?tab=wm&amp;pli=1#inbox\/14a4fcb1acfe09e2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter conversation<\/a>\u00a0held December 11 \u00a0to outline the new rules.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Three Reporting Methods<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Employers have three options for reporting these severe incidents to OSHA:<\/p>\n<p>1. They can call their nearest area OSHA office during normal business hours.<\/p>\n<p>2. They can call the 24-hour OSHA hotline at 1-800-321-OSHA (1-800-321-6742)<\/p>\n<p>3.
