Leaned against surfaces for use and requires a spotter.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Trestle<\/strong> &#8211; Has a trestle ladder base and a single vertical adjusting ladder which may be interlocked self-supporting and adjustable in length.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Twin front<\/strong> \u2013 Similar to the stepladder except there are steps on both sides for use with an assistant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">Ladders consist of a duty rating with five types:<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Type IAA<\/strong> \u2013 Rated for extra heavy duty use with a load capacity of 375 pounds.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Type IA<\/strong> \u2013 Rated for extra heavy duty use with a load capacity of 300 pounds.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Type I<\/strong> \u2013 Rated for heavy duty use with a load capacity of 250 pounds.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Type II<\/strong> \u2013 Rated for medium duty use with a load capacity of 225 pounds.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Type III <\/strong>\u2013 Rated for light duty use with a load capacity of 200 pounds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Every ladder has a specific purpose.
