For Seegrid Corp. — the Pittsburgh-based manufacturer of automated guided vehicles (AGVs) for warehouses, factories and other industrial applications — 2013 was a record-breaking year. But that is just the latest in a series of sales growths that the company has experienced, according to Amanda Merrell, Seegrid’s marketing director.<\/p>\n
“AGVs are becoming the solution of choice for companies seeking to boost productivity, reduce cost and improve the overall safety on the floor,” Merrell said in a news release<\/a>. “With AGV technology advancements providing increased flexibility and simplicity, I am confident the AGVS industry will continue to expand.”<\/p>\n Last year, Seegrid’s sales hit $140 million, an increase of more than 39% over 2012.
