A good medium duty hopper will be made from high quality 7 gauge steel, with 3/16″ thick sides and a 1/4″ base. The sides of the steel self dumping hopper and base will feature continuous welding for leak prevention and extra strength. A medium duty hopper will hold up to 4000 lbs of materials.

Heavy duty models come in many sizes and weight capacities – up to 6000 lbs. These are ideal for quick disposal of broken concrete, for instance. A heavy duty hopper will have double welded seams for extra strength and durability.
