ORBIS Corporation announced that it is re-branding its entire line of dunnage products under the brand name “ORBIShield”.
The new name originally was used by ORBIS for a single product line: A soft, versatile foam dunnage material for Class A surfaces. With the entire product line now being renamed ORBIShield, that product line has been rechristened, “CLA-1”.
Bob Peterson, ORBIS’ marketing manager for industrial products, said the dunnage product line’s name change is a huge positive or the company.
“We are very excited about this evolution and to introduce our full range of dunnage capabilities and solutions to our customers,” Peterson told Modern Materials Handling. “As North America’s leader in plastic reusable packaging for the automotive industry, ORBIS has a strong focus on educating the industry about the processes, materials and technology needed to fabricate the best dunnage designs for superior part protection.”
The newly named line of ORBIShield dunnage designs includes custom die-cut plastic corrugated divider sets, saw-cut foam inserts, sealed-edge divider sets, pigeon hole dunnage, custom thermoformed trays, sewn fabric bags, foam rails and molded foam inserts.
ORBIS is a leading single-source provider for entire systems of containers, pallets, bulk containers and protective dunnage.
