Columbus McKinnon –the Woodridge, Illinois, based maker of rigging and other material handling equipment — isn’t satisfied to simply release its latest product offerings in catalog form. Instead, it has unveiled what it’s calling “The Ultimate Rigging Resource”.
Steve Vitello, the company’s executive director for sales and marketing for hoists and rigging in North America, said the company wanted to make a big splash.
“This catalog was a major collaborative effort between our product, application, industry and training teams with feedback from a number of our Channel Partners and end-users,” Vitello said in a company news release. “The result is a one-of-a-kind rigging resource.”
The new Chain and Rigging Attachments Catalog is just one of many investments the company has made as part of its continued commitment to the rigging market.
“In addition to the new catalog, this year we have expanded our In-Stock Guarantee to include more than 275 hoists, chain and rigging products guaranteed to ship in three days or less,” Vitello said. “We have also made a number of significant product improvements, such as our enhanced product markings, as well as major financial investments in equipment, facilities and warehouses to support the rigging market.”
