Maximize Warehouse Space with Narrow Aisle Forklifts – Part 4

Forklifts

Narrow aisle forklifts reduce material handling costs.

A Little Bit of Trivia

Narrow aisle forklifts were first manufactured in 1949 by the Raymond Corporation. It was designed by Christian Gibson, an engineer working for Raymond at that time. In four years’ time, Raymond was able to manufacture 1,000 narrow aisle forklifts.

Warehouse space and the costs associated with it were not such a huge problem in the 1950s, but the problem eventually cropped up as the 20th century approached. Now, the need to maximize warehouse space is very important in order to keep materials handling costs within budget.

With a narrow aisle forklift, you can make the most use of your warehouse space, enhance your warehouse operations and reduce your operating costs!
