Deal Struck with Overseas Material Handling Company

Kalmar, a division of Cargotec, has recently been awarded an order to supply of 20 reachstackers and 20 forklift trucks for Pacific Materials Handling; which is one of their primary retailers. The order will be delivered during Cargotec’s 2013 second quarter. The delivery is scheduled for quarter three in 2013. This order will dramatically increase Pacific Material Handling’s portfolio, including Kalmar equipment. Kalmar DRT450 reaches about 45 tons capacity in its first row. They are sent to termincals across the regions of the Australian Pacific, and are designed to meet the needs of the Asia-Pacific customers. They are built in Kalmar’s Shangai factory and their machines can stack 9’6″ containers up to five high. They also have a wheelbase of 6250mm. The DRT450 is available with a hydraulic sliding cabin with a choice of two engine options; they feature the newest legislation requirements also. Kalmar DCG160-6 forklift trucks are used and great for all kinds of industrial and stevedoring applications. These trucks are the first to feature the Kalmar EGO cabin. Kalmar’s G-Generation trucks also feature new electric and hydraulic systems, which improves the driving experience and delivers additional benefits reducing overall costs.
