History

Bahrns Equipment was founded in 1966 in Effingham, Illinois. The small company held a tight grip on the importance of high morals and ethics in business relationships. history_tagThe founder wanted Illinois to have a heavy equipment company that strove to find new and innovative ways to serve their customers and Bahrns Equipment holds tight to that principle, even still today. In 1992, Bahrns Equipment expanded to better serve the state of Illinois with a 25,000 square foot facility located in Effingham, Illinois. As business grew, the company was able to spread its wings even further with a new expansion in Champaign, Illinois. Just in the last 5 years, that Champaign expansion, named ToyotaLift, was relocated to St. Joseph, Illinois. Each new facility has allowed us to even better provide the top of the line products and services for our loyal customers and businesses in Illinois.
